Ofsted publishes report of children's views

Children on Independent Reviewing Officers - A report of children's views by the Children’s Rights Director for England.

A report of children’s views by the Children's Rights Director for England was published by Ofsted on 19th July. Roger Morgan's team used a web survey to ask children for their views and experiences of Independent Reviewing Officers. Children in care were invited to take part via their local social care authorities who were requested to issue invitations to children in their care. The survey ran from December 2010 to February 2011 and represented the views of over 1,500 children and young people who responded. 68% of the responders were from a fostering environment.
