NFA Partnerships Ltd acquires Jay Fostering

NFA Partnerships Ltd (NFAP) an associate company of the National Fostering Agency (NFA) has added to its portfolio of independent regional fostering agencies with the acquisition of Leicester-based Jay Fostering.

Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, Jay Fostering provides a range of high-quality foster care placements in the Midlands.  Founded in 2003 by Joy Berry, a social worker, and her son Richard, Jay has grown substantially in the past three years, expanding into the West Midlands and also opening a satellite office in Castle Donnington, Derbyshire.  

NFA is the second largest fostering agency in the UK and with this acquisition has increased its regional offices to fifteen.  Jay's location in the East Midlands and strong relationships with its local authority customers complements NFA network's existing geographic and contractual reach.

Joy Berry, one of Jay's founding directors said: "We thought long and hard about our decision and were keen to ensure Jay could continue to flourish and grow with the security and support of a larger organisation behind it. NFA has already demonstrated commitment to service and to its people by being awarded the prestigious Government Customer Service Excellence kite mark and attaining Silver status Investors in People.
