Foster Placements through Local Authorities
The National Fostering Agency is the foster care provider of choice for many Local Authorities across the UK. When a Local Authority places a child with us, we work in partnership across our fostering network for the best interests of the child and foster parents.
When children need to be placed in foster care in the UK, we offer the most appropriately matched foster parents. We work closely with the Local Authority to ensure the foster placement meets the child’s needs.

Types of foster placements
We pride ourselves on finding the closest possible match when children need to be placed in foster care in the UK. All the foster carers in our fostering network are trained, assessed, approved and fully supported. We work in partnership with Local Authorities and all other agencies to achieve the best possible foster placements for all children in need of fostering in the UK.
Quality assurance
The National Fostering Agency believes in the value of having an effective quality management system and is continually updating its methods, policies and procedures, right across its fostering network.
