Who are Brighter Futures?
Brighter Futures Foster Care is an independent fostering agency (IFA) focused on giving vulnerable children and young people unable to live with their birth families the caring and supportive homes that they need in order to grow up happy, healthy and ready to find their way in the world.
Working across Central and Southern England, we have dedicated teams of social workers from the Midlands to the South Coast and everywhere in between. These teams provide specialist local fostering support to our foster carers at any time day or night throughout the year.
Ofsted rated ‘Good’, we find, develop, train and support those who want to make a big difference to the lives of children by guiding our diverse family of foster carers to offer children in their care all the personal and educational opportunities they deserve.
No matter what your background or life experience may be, we would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about becoming a foster Carer with Brighter Futures.
Once you are approved as a foster carer with us, you will be allocated a dedicated social worker who will keep in regular phone contact and meet you at least once a month to see how things are going. You will also have the opportunity to join support groups and local events in your area, 24-7 phone line support and access to online training.
We make sure that your passion and commitment as a foster carer with us are reflected in the allowance, rewards and benefits you receive. As well as your fostering allowance; family support events, peer mentors and discounts on high street stores are also available to you.
Because we specialise in the continual training and support of our foster carers so that children and young people in our care can get the best from life, we ensure that you can experience a range of in-house and external training courses to develop your skills and make you the fostering expert.
Choosing to be a foster carer with Brighter Futures means the start of a hugely rewarding journey, where you will have the chance to develop professionally in providing foster care and specialist care for children and young people who may have additional difficulties.
Brighter Futures work with Local Authorities to help find homes for young people in families across the whole of the Midlands, London, South East and South Coast.
