I am the Supervising Social Worker based in Hampshire and I joined Brighter Futures in May 2019. I provide regular face to face, telephone and email support to my carers spread out across Hampshire.  I work closely with Local Authority social workers and a variety of other professionals to ensure placements are managed well and successful.  I am also involved in recruiting new carers across Hampshire.

My favourite part of the job is the people - foster carers and staff. It’s very rewarding when you see children thriving.

I started my career as a Child Protection Social Worker, which was incredibly challenging but fantastic experience. Just before my daughter was born, I became a Form F Assessor, and this started my journey working with foster carers.
