Join us for our next online information event and find out why you should Make this the year you Foster!

This event will focus on fostering families, as we speak to foster carer Julie and her birth daughter Khaira.

They’ll share insightful and interesting first-hand experiences of being a foster carer and growing up in a fostering family.

There will also be useful factual information about who can foster, the fostering allowance and the different types of fostering.

What to expect at an online information event:

  • You can join with your camera on or off – it’s nicer for the speakers to see your face but we understand if you would prefer not to have your camera on.
  • We won’t speak to you directly during the event, you can listen in and observe the conversation.
  • Questions for our foster carers and representatives from the National Fostering Group team can be submitted by emailing [email protected] or by sending them via chat during the event.
  • The event will last around 1 hour.
  • You are welcome to encourage friends and family to join you at the event to gain a better understanding of fostering.
  • The event is hosted on zoom it may be helpful if you have downloaded the app before the event – Please get in touch for any support with this.
