My name is Laura Walker and I am a Supervising Social Worker at Fostering Relations, based and covering the beautiful area of Dumfries and Galloway in the South West of Scotland. Prior to this role, I was working in a Children and Families Long Term Team where I gained lots of experience and skills that are transferrable to working within the fostering sector. My role is to support foster carers in providing children and young people with a safe and nurturing environment to help them achieve their goals (whatever they may be!).

I am an outdoorsy sort of person and can usually be found pounding the streets running to keep myself fit and active, or exploring our beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to meeting you all in the future
