Job Title: Registered Manager - Heath Farm

Location: Whitstable, Kent

Salary: Circa £65,000

Car Allowance: £4,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The National Fostering Agency Group (NFA) are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to lead our partner agency Heath Farm, Whitstable. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Kent region and grow this thriving and well-established region.

Heath Farm recruits, trains and supervises skilled foster carers to work as part of our team, offering the very best care for children. The agency is managed and staffed by a team of highly qualified practitioners

As Registered Manager you will be a leader, providing the strategic vision and overseeing the delivery of all Heath Farm - Kent services. You will develop and manage all aspects of fostering resources and support functions in the registered company. You will champion and promote Heath Farm as a leading, high quality fostering service to local authorities, placing children and young people based Nationally.

You will need to hold Social Work qualifications and have in-depth experience of working within fostering and services for children and will possess a high level and detailed working knowledge of relevant legislation and their impact on fostering services. You will also have experience of managing and motivating a team and either possess or be willing to work towards a management qualification.

  • Experience developing high performing teams within Children’s Services
  • Enthusiasm to drive quality standards and performance
  • Strong motivational and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Competence in budget management
  • Experience of developing, auditing and monitoring services
  • Knowledge of Children’s Services policies and regulations
