Hi I'm Belinda and I joined NFA in 2018 as a Senior Practitioner. I have been qualified as a Social Worker for over 12 years and have previously worked in Local Authorities as both a Senior Practitioner and Social Worker in Child Protection, Child Health and Disability and Kinship Care. In my current role I oversee the recruitment of new foster carers, assess new applicants, line manage support staff, supporting social worker to foster carers and I am also the Panel Advisor.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is seeing a person's fostering journey from application through to approval. As an assessor I enjoy supporting applicants through the assessment process and providing them with advice and guidance relating to the fostering task.
