I’m a Supervising Social Worker with NFA Wales. My job entails ensuring the foster carers I work with have the support and guidance they need to provide high quality care to the vulnerable young people they look after. I also regularly liaise with other professionals involved with the young people to ensure their complex needs are being best met. In my previous role I worked for 10 years for a Local Authority Child Health and Disability Team. This role entailed working and supporting young people with additional needs/disabilities and this included working closely with their parents/carers. I like working for NFA as I enjoy helping to ensure vulnerable young people get the care and support they need to thrive.
