The first meeting of the revised Hampshire fostering framework took place this week in Winchester. I had a very positive discussion with our Hampshire
County Council colleagues about how the revised Hampshire fostering framework is working.
The excellent work of all of our Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth foster carer made this meeting a very easy, very pleasant, very positive event.
The discussions highlighted how well our fostering service is helping Hampshire children , the good placement stability that our Hampshire children
are enjoying and the need for us to press on with recruiting more foster carers across the region.
I left the meeting feeling really proud of our Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton foster carers and really pleased with all of their achievements
and good work they are doing.
