Children’s Mental Health Week 5-11 February

Tuesday 06 February 2018

This week, 5th-11th February, is Children’s Mental Health Week. This year children, young people and adults are being encouraged to celebrate their
uniqueness. We want everyone to come together to celebrate the unique qualities in themselves and others. In 2018 it’s all about #BeingOurselves!

Start your fostering journey today

Some children and young people can find it difficult to think positively about themselves. Low self-esteem affects more than 8 in 10 of the pupils
who have Place2Be one-to-one support.

When we have a positive view of ourselves, it can help us to cope with life’s challenges and make better connections with others.

At the same time, celebrating the unique strengths of the people around us can enable us to come together in our schools, workplaces and communities.

Whether you’re a parent, someone who works with children, or even just someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people’s mental
health – you can support the campaign by getting involved and spreading the word.
