Our first foster carer event of the year was held at Itchen Valley Country Park in Hampshire.
The sun shone for most of the day, with just a few spots of rain here and there. It is a great venue with lots of space and an onsite BBQ.
Armed with a few hundred burgers and sausages, and enough cakes to sink a ship, we welcomed lots of our foster carers and their children. Face painting,
cake decorating and flower crown making were among the activities on offer. The children were entertained and returned home tired, but happy. It was
lovely to see so many people at the event and thank you to everyone who wrote to tell us how much they enjoyed the day.
Our socials are a great opportunity to show how much we appreciate the wonderful work that our foster carers do and have the chance to play and interact
with the fabulous children in their care.
