It reports on the views of 332 children and young people who took part in consultation sessions in three cities around the country about the Department of Education’s ‘Edge of care’ policy. Those taking part were drawn from children and young people in care and care leavers.
The aim of the policy is to ensure that those going in to care really need to, and that children can go back home from care if that is in their best interest.
The views that came out of the sessions will be fed back to those who are carrying out work on the policy.
