NFA at Coventry Caribbean Festival

29/10/2013 12:00am

NFA Midlands had a wonderful time attending the Coventry Caribbean Festival recently. Thousands of people turned out to sample the food, drink, music and entertainment at this annual event now in its 23rd consecutive year. Thank you to all of those who braved the weather to come along to our information stand to chat to our social workers and Coventry foster carers!
NFA Midlands are a well established team, working with local authorities throughout the West & East Midlands.  Currently there is a huge demand for the number of carers needed within the local area, with over 580 “Looked After Children” within the Coventry region alone.
There are many reasons why Coventry children need to be “looked after” by foster carers.  Each child or young person’s circumstances are unique and by providing a safe caring family environment, you could make a real difference and help turn their life around.
Our aim is to provide quality care and achieve the best outcomes for the children and young people entrusted to us.  We do so by working in consultation and partnership with our foster carers, local authorities, our experienced and professional social workers, and of course the children and young people we look after.
If you live in Coventry and are interested in finding out a little more about fostering local children, then please do not hesitate to submit your contact details and we will call you back for an informal chat.
