I joined Alliance in December 2022 and have worked in fostering for most of my social work career (14 years), with six months working in a Young People’s Team for Milton Keynes when I first qualified. Before this I worked in Day Nurseries with 10 years working in a Local Authority Family Centre where I progressed into Management. I have worked in both Statutory (Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire) fostering teams and Independent Fostering Agencies, being a Registered Manager for two of them. I have had the privilege of working alongside lots of foster carers and children and have seen just how much a safe, loving, caring home can make a difference and show children a different path.
