Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I’m Ang and I am a Waking Night Support Worker here at Arun Hope.
Many moons ago I studied a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care at Guildford College of Technology. Since then, I have spent much of my career working with children, babies and families. I get a great sense of fulfilment helping, encouraging, and supporting caregivers to achieve the best outcomes for babies & children and to see families thrive.
After having our first-born son, I became an Ofsted registered Childminder which kept me very busy for 9 years. Once both of my son’s went to school I loved bouncing up and down instructing Music & Movement sessions within Children & Family Centres around West Sussex alongside hosting babies & children’s parties. This kept me very fit for 10 years!
I was then very lucky to find my dream career in a Parenting Assessment Centre which I totally love. At Arun Hope I am looking to further my knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting and specialise in Childhood Trauma, continuing to help support families build better relationships and be the best they can.
