I am a qualified social worker with experience of working both in the public and private sector, delivering therapeutic intervention to families from various backgrounds. I am experienced in completing parenting assessments during family court proceedings and providing written and verbal evidence to the family courts. I understand the concept of developmental trauma and the impact this can have on a person’s parenting. I have vast experience in using both the PAMS and Parent Assess framework when working with parents with a learning disability.

I appreciate how stressful social care involvement can be for some parents and acknowledge how being at a centre such as Arun Hope, can feel overwhelming and challenging. I am committed to working through these feelings with parents to help facilitate growth, not just for them as parents but also as individuals.

I am passionate in supporting children to have the best outcomes and believe that the best way of doing this is by supporting and working alongside their parents wherever possible. It is important for me that the parents I work with know they can expect to receive an honest, fair and compassionate service.

I go to the gym regularly but would be lying if I said I enjoyed it. I like spending time with my family and friends and going out for nice meals. I’m also partial to a wander around a car boot sale in the search of a bargain!
