Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I have a degree in childcare and was a deputy manager for many years at my local pre-school. I have a qualification in mental health in children, which I found super interesting, as it provided me with lots of knowledge, and even more understanding into children’s mental health and well-being.
I recently attained the Solihull Approach Advanced Trained Practitioner qualification, which allows me to deliver workshops to parents, supporting them to enhance their parenting skills, foster positive relationships with their children, and address common challenges faced in parenting.
Working with children and families is something I’ve always absolutely loved, it's my passion, as I enjoy supporting them to learn and develop new skills.
When I’m not working, I love going away camping with my family and making amazing memories and adventures with my children. When I’m not being a busy mum, I do love to end the day in the bath (a very long bubble bath)!
