I have worked as part of the Brighter Futures team for six years now, in which I have enjoyed each moment. I initially started as a supervising social worker, then after two years became a senior practitioner, taking a more active part in the leadership of the agency which I really enjoy. I have previous experience of front line (child protection) social work, having worked within this area, before coming into the foster sector approx. eight years ago.

Brighter Futures has a good sense of ‘family’ throughout the agency and staff/carers work well together for the sake of children and young people in care. In December 23 we were rated as an outstanding agency by Ofsted, which was a great achievement and demonstrates the standard of care and practice delivered overall.
