I recently joined the Children First family after working as a Social Worker and Manager in the charity sector for over 25 years. I have written and facilitated training groups and workshops for children, young people, parents, carers and professional on different topics. I spent a majority of my career working alongside children and young people as a therapeutic social worker using creative mediums to enable the child/YP to express themselves. Most recently I managed the family support team in a children’s hospice where we made ‘every moment matter’. I am excited to join such a skilled team and begin a new journey and I look forward to getting to know you, your families and the children you foster.
