All About Fostering - Information Event - Inverness and Moray

Come along to the Laichmoray Hotel, Elgin between 4:00 pm and 7pm on Tuesday 28th May 2019 to find out more about fostering for the National Fostering Agency Scotland in Inverness & Moray.  We currently have a need to recruit more Foster Carers in the Inverness & Moray areas and we would like to take this opportunity to help you find out more by providing you with all the information you might need to decide whether you could be a good Foster Carer.

On the evening we will be on hand to give you general information about fostering; we can tell you about the types of fostering, some of the reasons why children come in to foster care, what’s involved in becoming a Foster Carer and how you can help make a difference.

There will be an opportunity for you to talk to experienced NFA Foster Carers & staff and to ask the questions most important to you. You will have the opportunity to find out all about the different areas of fostering to ensure you can make an informed decision. This will include; types of fostering – Short term, long term and respite, education and support for children, support for Carers including, training and development and financial support for Carers.

If you have a spare bedroom, you drive or live near great transport links and you have the time and commitment to offer one or more children a home then please come along Tuesday 28th May between 4pm and 7pm to find out more.

There is parking available on site. Light refreshments will be provided.
