Jamaica in The Square returns to Birmingham City Centre for a second instalment following the successful event of 2012, which saw approximately 300k visitors in attendance at Victoria and Chamberlin squares. This year to mark the 55th anniversary of Jamaica’s Independence, the Association of Jamaican Nationals (AJN) are hosting another free open-air Jamaica street festival. The event will take place from the 4th – 6th August
2017. Celebrating the best of Jamaican diaspora culture. Jamaica in the Square 2 will officially be opened by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and the Jamaican High Commissioner on Friday 4th August 2.30pm in Victoria Square.
