Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
Earlier in 2018 NFA South West launched the #BeMyRock pebble painting and treasure hunting initiative on Facebook – aiming to raise awareness of the need for rock-solid foster carers by enabling people – whatever their age – to join our search.
We’re delighted that you’ll be able to find us at Eastleigh Fire Station’s much anticipated Open Day (2018), where we’ll have our NFA stand set up for lots of #BeMyRock painting, and our Carer Engagement Officer, Jo Hutchison, and Supervising Social Worker for the area will be on hand to fire questions about fostering at!
In the meantime, you can join in the fun by painting some pebbles, tagging them with #BeMyRock, and sharing a photograph on our #bemyrock Facebook group – with brief clues as to where they are hidden. Then enjoy waiting to see if your rock is found, and the journey it goes on.
By joining our #BeMyRock Facebook group, and sharing pictures of your hides and seeks, you will be helping to raise awareness of the need in the UK for an increasing number of reliable fostering caring ‘rocks’ for the 77,000+ children currently needing care.
