Danielle - Supervising Social Worker
Helo, fy enw i yw Danielle Sawrey, a dwi ‘di bod yn SSW gyda Fostering Solutions Cymru ers Ionawr 2025. Roeddwn i yn gweithio fel Aseswr Gofal Cymdeithasol mewn timau gofal cymdeithasol awdurdodau lleol ers 2016 Cyn ymuno â'r awdurdod lleol, gwirfoddolais ar gyfer elusen plant ac o fy lleoliadau mewn timau plant statudol, roeddwn i'n gwybod mai fy nyhead oedd gweithio gyda phlant a theuluoedd, felly roedd y rôl hon yn ffit perffaith i mi! Rwyf wedi gweithio mewn timau oedolion amrywiol: cymunedol, iechyd meddwl, ac yn bennaf mewn tîm anabledd dysgu ac awtistiaeth am 7 mlynedd. Mae fy niddordebau y tu allan i'r gwaith yn cynnwys gwylio cerddoriaeth fyw, treulio amser gyda theulu a ffrindiau a mynd allan i'r awyr agored.

Hi, my name is Danielle Sawrey, I have been an SSW with Fostering Solutions January 2025. Before this I worked as a front line Social Care Assessor in local authority social care teams since 2016, and completed this degree alongside my previous role. Prior to joining the local authority, I volunteered for a children's charity and from my placements in statutory children's teams, I knew my aspiration was to work with children and families, so this role was the perfect fit! I've worked in various adults’ teams: community, mental health, and predominantly in a learning disability & autism team for 7 years. My interests outside of work include watching live music, spending
time with family and friends and getting outdoors.
