I’m Agnes.

I have recently joined the Fostering Solution Team and I’m very much learning and enjoying my new role. I have always been admiring Foster Carers for what they are doing for young people in their care.

To achieve that I joined The Local Authority as a Social Worker in safeguarding team where I worked for 2 years. I also attended university placement with The Local Authority fostering and adoption team and later with looked after child team. Following the journey of the child was such a valuable experience that allowed me to gain more understanding about what children in care go through prior to and after they are removed from their parents’ care. I learned a lot about children’s feelings and emotions as well as about the processes and circumstanced leading to child being placed in care.

In my free time I love to go shopping with my little girl, go to the gym, practice yoga or eat cakes.
