I joined the Referrals Hub in October 2018 ,my role is to liaise with the Local Authorities, Supervising Social Workers and Foster carers.

In my personal life I’m the proud mum of two sons, both of whom tower over me. One works in London and California and the Other emigrated to New Zealand just over two years ago. They both seem to have inherited their love of travel from their parents. There is a world map on the side of the fridge and we are working our way around it – next stop Russia.

Previously, I was a Mental Health Navigator working with adults in the Mental Health service and prior to this I was part of a pastoral team in education for over 11 years. I liaised with Local Authorities and parents whilst safe guarding young people. My current role can be challenging; we are always trying to find appropriate placements for our carers , but making a good placement is very rewarding.
