Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
As the Team Manager, I am responsible for the leadership and management of the social work and support team ensuring that children and foster carers receive a responsive service that safeguards and promotes welfare. I am accountable for ensuring the team achieves its business plan by promoting an appropriate culture, empowering others, setting and maintaining high and measurable standards of practice.
I have grown up in a very large family of five sons and one daughter all very close in age. So a five aside team and a sub! The boys still play football and also now do coaching too. I am now enjoying having grandchildren and spend a lot of time at the weekend cycling, swimming and going to soft play with them. I enjoy going to the theatre, ceroc dancing and reading when I get the time Wilbur Smith and Martina Cole and John Grisham are my favourite authors. I have two dogs, Chihuahua’s called Hercules and Tinkerbell who love walking and lots of cuddles. I go to the gym regularly, attending pump classes at least twice a week.
