My name is Steve and I’m the Team Manager NFA London North. I have a working history in mental health street services, Children's social care, working from initial assessment, through to setting up the Looked After Children’s team, before moving on to manage a specialist adolescent service for those on the edge of care. The last few years I have been working as the Fostering Service Manager for another independent agency and more recently for Dorset Council and then Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council. I have to say that working with Looked After Children and foster carers is the most rewarding pathway I have taken, the opportunity to make and sustain real and positive change to allow a child/ young person to really reach their full potential is what it is all about for me. I enjoy my team and the characters who make up a productive and forward-thinking team who all have a passion for getting it right based on hope and possibility.
