Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I qualified as a Social Worker in March 2021 having completed the Step Up to Social Work fast track Programme in partnership with Middlesex University, and I worked for a Central London Local Authority following this in their Looked After Children’s Team where I successfully completed my ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year of Employment), before joining NFA London North in October 2022. Prior to qualifying as a Social Worker, I worked in numerous mainstream schools as well as schools for children with additional complex needs, and I worked in the charity sector for three years for a social mobility education charity delivering outreach programmes for children and young people.
I am allocated to NFA approved foster carers all over London, however predominantly in North and East London.
