Hi, I am Wendy, and along with my colleague Nikki, I am the first point of contact for anyone wishing to foster with us.

With more than 20 years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools around the South of England, I have learnt a lot about children and their needs.

In the role of Carer recruitment Officer, I know that I am still able to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. What better job than to recruit foster carers who care about children, and want to give them a safe, nurturing environment in which to thrive?

Having joined NFA South West early in 2019, I absolutely love my job, and get great satisfaction from speaking with people when they make that first enquiry, and then guiding them through their assessment to approval.
