Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
Hi, my name is Amatulhay. I’m a Supervising Social Worker with NFA London South.
I have extensive experience working within fostering services and have supported a range of foster carers through different agencies. I am passionate about helping children thrive in stable, nurturing environments and supporting carers to feel confident and equipped in their role. My approach is guided by the principles of the UK Government initiative — Every Child Matters, supporting children to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution, and achieve economic well-being.
I value strong, supportive relationships with my foster carers, and I prioritise regular supervision, ongoing communication, and meaningful support in between visits. I also support carers in understanding children’s care plans, accessing relevant training, and navigating the fostering process with confidence.
