I have been a social worker since 2019, I have worked in looked after children’s teams, adoption teams, unaccompanied asylum seeking children teams, the court team both private and public law, and Cafcass. I have supported children that are victims of sexual trauma in their ABE interviews. I have supported children that are in secure accommodation and returning to foster care. I am now a supervising social worker in NFA London South - I support my foster carers from the beginning of their journey, helping them to prepare for their first child, helping them to access training, catching up with them from time to time to see how they are getting on with the child. My goal is to help every foster carer I work with to feel supported in their fostering role and wherever possible, give stability to the many unfortunate children that get moved from place to place in the care system
