Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I would like to introduce myself as the Country Manager for NFA Wales.
I live in Cardiff and have been a qualified as a Social Worker for 28 years. All my career I have worked in children’s services in Wales, working in Local Authorities, Voluntary Sectors, and Independent Fostering agencies. I have worked as a supervising social worker, team manager, registered manager fostering and more recently as Head of Children Looked After Services.
My experiences have involved managing residential homes, fostering services, placements, and special guardianship support services, all of which I hope will help in my new role supporting you as foster carers for NFA.
I have always been impressed by the huge contribution foster carers make to children’s lives and look forward to helping you all do the best for children and receive the support you need.
