Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I always knew I wanted to work with children, and have done so in various capacities over the course of my career, including as a family support worker, working in children’s homes, and initially studying psychology before training and working as an early childhood teacher. I then discovered my true passion lay in helping children and families, and went on to complete a master’s degree in social work. I’ve been a social worker for seven years now, of which three years have been in a fostering role. I am passionate about working with foster carers to ensure that the children they care for receive high quality care, love, and support. I’ve been working for NFA for almost a year now, and am happy to be in a very supportive and encouraging team.
