As a Family Support Worker, I will be offering targeted support to individual children, with 1:1 work tailored to the needs and circumstances of each child, e.g. supporting emotional literacy, self-regulation, transitions e.g. to high school, and with any other obstacle, to be the best they can. In parallel, I might work with the foster carers, to offer psychoeducation, practical advice and support as and when needed. Also, I will work with targeted groups, such as birth children, and plan events for the children and families all year round, especially during school holidays.
