Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
I joined the NFA South-East team in March 2022 bringing my passion for customer service and relationship building to the Carer Recruitment role after working for more than 20 years in the travel industry.
I was born and brought up in Sussex, before deciding to spread my wings and moved to South Africa for 9 years where I met my now husband. We returned to Sussex 9 years ago after we had our beautiful daughter.
Since making my big career change, I haven’t looked back. I am inspired every day by the incredible job our foster carers do in supporting the young people in their care and am touched by the achievements of our children as they flourish in safe and secure homes.
I am the main point of contact when you first enquire about fostering and will be by your side on your fostering journey. Whether it’s an initial chat over the phone, a home visit, supporting you through the application and assessment process or a friendly face as you prepare for panel, I’ll be there every step of the way. Once you become an approved carer you may well see me at events, organising regular meet ups for foster carers and getting involved with supporting carers alongside the rest of our team. It’s a privilege to be part of our close knit NFA South East family and I love helping more people to become foster carers and in turn help more children across our region.
