I joined the team in September 2024, having previously worked in both the Health & Social Care sector in many different roles from Children’s Nurse, Registered Manager, ACEO and then went on to recruit for social care and NHS Finance too! I was ready for a change and to get back to working with carers, real people who make a real impact.

NFG attracted me due to its longevity, reputation and ethos.

The Carer Recruitment Officer role really appealed to me being able to engage and build positive links with carers, potential applicants and those in the middle of their journey and to see someone from Enquiry to Panel Day is so amazing! I really enjoy meeting potential applicants, undertaking initial visits and telling them all about NFA-NW and the support and warmth we offer as a whole team working with children and young people as our focus.
