Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
Hello I’m Singeta and I’ve just started with NFA as a Supervising Social Worker. I have worked with children and families and also within mental health for many years. I qualified as a social worker in the mid-1990’s in London and worked widely with families and children, within local authorities and the third sector since then. I have moved around the country – working in London, Norfolk, Nottingham before settling back in Cardiff eleven years ago – working mainly within adoption and fostering. I am also an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist registered with BACP, and work with individuals, couples, and families, as well as children and young people.
I am a parent of a 21 year old and a 10 year old, and most recently to a fur baby – a new puppy called Archie! My hobbies include baking, reading, walking, cinema, meeting up with friends and family and days out.
I am very excited to be starting with the NFA Cymru and look forward to meeting carers and children soon!
