I joined NFA South East in 2023.  I had previously worked for 18 years in a residential children’s home, firstly, as a therapeutic care worker then team leader and latterly 9 years as an assistant director.  I have vast experience working with severely traumatised young people of all ages.   I run the Therapeutic Parenting Support group which supports carers who are caring for more challenging children who need additional support.  I had experience of fostering a I grew up in a household that fostered.  I have seen many foster children thrive and succeed in a positive family setting and have such praise and admiration for foster carers.
