TAKE THAT FIRST STEP ON A JOURNEY THAT WILL SET YOU ON A PATH TO HELP A YOUNGSTER BACK ONTO THEIRS
NFA is delighted to announce that it is taking part in Fostering February.
Fostering February is a campaign to create awareness around what fostering is about and to dispel many of the myths that surround fostering, such as knowing that you don’t need to own your own home and you don’t need to be married, and saying that, yes, you can be gay, can be single and can be divorced and still foster.
Fostering February wants you to learn more about the facts and be properly informed on how to become a foster carer – understand what is involved and how long it could take – and very importantly, have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you would like.
Did you know there are over 92,000 looked after children in the United Kingdom of whom some 67,000 children and young people live with loving foster families? No matter where you are in the country, there is someone near you making a difference to a young people’s life by offering them the love and everyday human needs they deserve – things most of us take for granted.
By taking the time to ask and find out, you could honestly and truly make an amazing difference to a young person’s passage towards adulthood. Help to transform a child’s life today by contacting us today using the enquiry form
