I am a qualified Social Worker registered with the Health and Care Council and currently with Social Work England. Since qualifying as a Social Worker in 1990 I have had experience working with five different Local Authorities. as a manager chairing case conferences and managing staff in all areas e.g. duty, assessments, safeguarding, adoption, chairing reviews and court work.

My most challenging position was working for a large charitable fostering agency as an Area Registered Manger where I was responsible for managing a team including the admin team and sessional workers who were assigned to complete Form F assessments.

I also was Agency Decision Maker for three different fostering agencies and have also chaired fostering panels.
