Clem is qualified social worker with an M.Sc. in Social Work and over 30 years’ experience across the local authority, third sector and private sector. Clem has held several management roles in the social work field in the last 24 years, the most recent being as Assistant Director Children’s Services, a role which he held for 12 years until joining Next Step Fostering in January 2021. Clem has been a trainer, lecturer in social work, coach, mentor, and management consultantduring his career. Clem has vast experience of child protection, working with looked after children and of partnership working with foster carers.
