Carer Recruitment Officer

As a Carer Recruitment Officer, my role is to help expand and build our family of foster carers across the North East, to engage with the public, face to face, online and by telephone to promote the fostering role. When applicants have made the decision to foster it is my role to take them through the process, applicants will be asked questions about their family, their home, their work and experience with children and the reasons why they would like to foster. The carer Recruitment officer will keep in touch with applicants throughout the assessment process.

I like to work closely with our foster carers to promote fostering as they are the experts. As an agency we like to get our foster carers involved with recruitment and events, it’s their vast knowledge and experience that can help in the process of recruiting new foster carers.
