Dawn is employed as a consultant social worker which is a new role within the fostering team.
As an experienced social work practitioner, her job is to provide advice and guidance on all aspects of fostering and children’s social work. Dawn has experience in managing teams and will supervise our social workers her role includes that of fostering panel adviser.
Dawn qualified in 2006, she holds a Social Work and Mental Health degree and is a Practice Educator. Her background includes working within children and adolescent mental health teams and teams specialising in dealing with child protection, court work and ABE . More recently working in senior roles within the independent fostering sector including that of fostering team manager.
Dawn has three children and spends most of her time ‘being a taxi driver for them all’. She enjoys reading and socialising.
