Hi, I am Amanda Scott and I have worked as a Carer Recruitment Officer for Fostering Relations for over a whopping 6 years. I get the wonderful pleasure of speaking to all the prospective foster carers at the very beginning of their journey right through to their approval.  Prior to coming to work for Fostering Relations, I worked in Community Education and Development which focussed on regeneration projects and primarily youth work.  Having always enjoyed working with adults and young people supporting their lifelong learning it comes very natural to me to connect and engage with people.  I am also a mum of three children which like many people I juggle alongside working and studying.  Most recently I have taken my passion for helping children and young people to a new level by working towards a Master’s degree in Play Therapy with the view to bringing another incredible asset to this already thriving therapeutic wrap around fostering agency.
