Find out if you could be a foster carer
In a few simple questions, you’ll know if you’re suitable to apply to become a foster carer.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website!
The website, dedicated to our Fostering Services, went live today on our new domain www.reachoutcarefostering.co.uk (although it is also still available via www.reachoutcare.co.uk too). As an independent fostering agency we work in partnership with local authorities across the North East and beyond to provide caring foster placements for children and young people who need to be looked after. Our website needs to communicate what we do to a number of different audiences and reflect that we are a friendly fostering agency who are passionate about making a real difference to children’s lives; and we believe it does just that. Going forward we plan to update the website regularly with what we are up to (so please watch out for our blogs) and to link these updates to our social media accounts (which we are also refreshing) enabling us to develop even more meaningful conversations with our target audiences.
It is our aim to give anyone in the North of England looking to begin a Fostering journey, or anyone already on a fostering journey and maybe looking to transfer to us, all the information they need about fostering with Reach Out Care so that they feel totally comfortable about getting in touch for a chat. We know that due to the number of children and young people being taken in to care, we will need Foster Carers who live in the following areas to join our existing team:
– The North East including Darlington, Durham, Tyne and Wear(Sunderland, Newcastle) and Teesside areas (Stockton and
Middlesbrough)
– North Yorkshire from Leeds, Doncaster York, and Harrogate toplaces like Thirsk, Richmond etc
– Cumbria including Carlisle Penrith, Workington and Whitehaven
We believe in going the extra mile to support our foster carers so, if you feel the same way as we do about helping children and young people to thrive in every area of their lives then get in touch, via our new website, today!
