In June & July of this year we carried out our second National Carer Survey, this was sent to all our foster carers in order to continue to maintain up-to-date and valuable carer insight.
The carers answered questions that were multiple choice, tick box or free text and have been answered honestly and to the best of their ability.
The feedback we had was very positive and the results will be used to establish a new NFA carer ‘profile’ tool which will provide the carer recruitment team with relevant and local information when planning campaigns.
Of particular interest are the key satisfaction questions where 91% of respondents recorded that they were satisfied with the support they receive from the NFA and 98% felt that NFA Supervising Social Workers are well equipped to carry out their roles.
When asked about financial support that our carers receive from the NFA, 90% of the respondents recorded that they were very or fairly satisfied.
