Pathway Care is delighted with the Government’s decision to exempt Foster Carers and those serving in the armed forces, from the Housing Benefit reforms, more commonly known as the ‘bedroom tax’.
From a fostering perspective, it is vital the most vulnerable children and young people in society have access to secure, supportive and caring foster homes, and that no one is discouraged from becoming a foster carer.
