Support for foster carers

You’ll be part of an expert team of professionals who work together to improve the quality of life of foster children. So, with support groups and social workers on call, you’ll always have someone supporting you.

We’re with you all the way

As an National Fostering Group carer, you’re supported round-the-clock by local, professionally qualified teams who are with you every step of the way.

Carer Engagement Officers

They build relationships with prospective foster carers and support our current foster carers by running support groups and planning fun events for the entire fostering household.

Supervising Social Workers

From the very start of your adventure, you’ll be allocated your own supervising social worker who will be with you throughout your assessment and beyond. They will provide you guidance, access to training and support and simply be there for a chat.

Extended Carer Family

With 14 agencies within our National Fostering Group you will be supported by all of our carers, through our fostering buddy system, support groups, online groups and so much more. We encourage our foster carers to build strong relationships with each other as we value that our foster carers are the ones that truly know what it is like to foster and with their knowledge and support fostering is made easier!

Regional Managers

Bringing together the community of carers, whilst being advocates for the children and young people in our care and ensuring that safeguarding is a top priority. Regional Managers also support the Supervising Social Workers.
